This small Belgium festival was held for the 10th and sadly the last time. To make this Farewell edition of the festival extra special the organisation invited all these band who they had before at the festival or had a special connection with.
Needlessly to say, with bands like

The Midnight
,
Acus Vacuum
, Celtic Attitude and
Prima Nocta
on the menu, it would be an amazing edition.
Besides the amazing music there were shows, a Mabon Fire, Jam sessions but best of all was to be there amongst friends and celebrate this amazing loving festival.
We did many live streams there in the hope to share a little bit of this, browse our page to revisit the video’s.

For CeltCast this was about the last outdoor Festival of 2017. Soon we will move to concerts and Festivals inside. We have many exciting things coming up.

Day 1 of
Castlefest
is behind us and left us with great many beautiful memories.
Just being at a great festival with all these special people makes it beautiful but to hear some of the best bands in the scene play to great success was enough to bring tears of joy.
We were there when Emian PaganFolk had a full field enjoying their tunes. Cesair and Cuélebre had people dancing to their new songs like their life depended on it.
Plunder woke up the whole festival with their best gig ever. RASTABAN had people stop and listen to each tune they played with big smiles on their faces.
And while it’s not strictly CeltCast music, Mutefish did deliver a very good set of powerful Folk Mash, all dressed in Sombrero’s.
All in all, it was a great day, we are very much looking forward to today.

You couldn’t have missed it but last weekend
CeltCast
was at
Fantasia Fest Leeft
.
We were invited by Friendly Folk Records and My Music Matters-MT to do livestreams and take pictures of their bands playing at this festival.
Next to the Friendly Folk bands, Pyrolysis , Gwendolyn Snowdon and The Royal Spuds . There were more artists there. The line up was made complete by HarPetra , Tailor Birds , Idisi and PerKelt .
All in all a line up to be proud off and almost all bands are well known by CeltCast. And those we didn’t know were very nice to be introduced too.

A month ago during
Rapalje
‘s
Zomerfolk festival
we were introduced to the band
Fling
.
Fling played a brilliant energetic set of Irish folk that had a lot of people dancing.
Especially during the set in on the pub stage they got the crowed going.
We were happily surprised by this band. Their energy and joy in music was infectious.
