CeltCast Fantasy Awards: The voting has started!

After Fantasy Fest is before Fantasy Fest… While we loved this edition and still have lots of footage to share, we are looking forward to the next edition even more.

Why?

Because during the next edition we will also be handing out the 🏆 CeltCast Fantasy Awards 2025 🏆!

In order for us to be able to do this and thereby show our appreciation for this wonderful scene, we need your help! We need you to

  • head over to 🔗Voting Form for the Longlist
  • 🗳 nominate and/or vote for your favourites in all the categories
  • 📨 click on send
  • 🗣 spread the word to all your friends e.g. by posting this on your favourite social media and so on

Can we count on your help? You have until midnight on New Year’s Eve 2025 to cast your votes for the Longlist.

Voting for the Shortlist will happen between 16/01/2026 and 01/02/2026!

📣A VERY BIG THANK YOU to everybody, who voted for this year’s CeltCast Fantasy Awards Longlist!📣

You went absolutely crazy – we are happy to announce that we received 22% more votes than during last year’s Longlist voting and even 71% more than 2 years ago!

We are especially happy that the “Best Cover Art” category – a category that shines a light on artists who otherwise tend to remain hidden from the audience – was far more popular with voters than in past years.

So what comes next?

Voting for the Longlist has closed!

Yes! It is that time of the year again when you get to celebrate those beautiful people who went the extra mile to make 2023 the wonderful folk and fantasy festival year that it was!

Voting for the Longlist has now been closed. Based on your votes, our team will now prepare the Shortlist! The final voting round will start on February 4th!

And of course, the winners will be announced on March 2nd during our awards ceremony in the P60!

Meanwhile, we’ll keep you informed here on our website, on the Fantasy Awards website, and through our social media channels:
