After the first already fantastic day at Castlefest , the camping site slowly wakes itself up with the increasing intensity of shower doors clappering over at the sanitary units. As the first rays of sun evaporate the dew on the tents, those privileged to already be here, rise and prepare themselves for today’s program over breakfast, with the festival terrain at full capacity.

On the music-menu of today are the soothing sounds of Irfan , the party that is EMIAN PaganFolk , mystical melodies by The Moon and the Nightspirit , the energy-boost of The SIDH , the beautiful voice of Gwendolyn Snowdon and the high-rising Sunfire . And that’s just before dinner! The evening will feature Sowulo , Kaunan , The Dolmen , Fiona (of FAUN ), Coppelius , Prima Nocta , Eivør and exclusively for these same people currently waking up: ThunderCrow as the closing act on the Meadow stage.

So come on over and join the party or follow us closey and enjoy those snippets of the festival that we will be able to bring to you!

Today is the day!!! Today we kick off Castlefest 2018 – Official !!! While Alex is already onsite, the rest of the team is packing their stuff and getting ready for the trip to Kasteel Keukenhof .

As said in the interview Alex did with Mark and Natasja last night for Castlefest TV, Castlefest will be bigger and longer than last year. A big example of that is that we are going to get a full extra day of Castlefest fun and music today!!

The first day of this beautiful event will bring us, SeeD Pagan Folk , PerKelt , Rapalje Celtic Folk Music and Coppelius . But also we will bring you some from the Castlefest Academy and more!!

Coppelius with their brilliant show of theatre, rock and folk

It’s been 2 years since Coppelius graced us with their brilliant show of theatre, rock and folk at Castlefest .
In 2016, when the organizers of Castlefest rightfully thought it would be awesome to have an extra evening of this blissful festival, they made it happen by having Coppelius as one of the opening acts. It’s save to say, it was a brilliant idea! Both that extra evening of Castlefest and having Coppelius on stage!

Now this crazy band with their own on-stage Butler will be returning to do another openings show at Castlefest and to top the awesomeness off completely one more show on the Friday evening! So, we get to see this incredible band twice!
