It’s the 1st of October, which means it’s time to introduce two brand-new Monthly Markers! 🎶✨
This month, we’re traveling from Belgium & Sweden all the way to Scotland, with two beautiful songs, and both deserve a spot on your playlist. ❤️Band no. 1: WÖR + kongero (BE/SE)

Album Songbooks brings Belgian and Swedish folk traditions together in one vibrant collaboration. Belgian instrumentalists WÖR meet Swedish folk’appella group Kongero, bringing together voices, instruments, stories, tunes, and original music in a show that is lively, soulful, beautiful, and wonderfully groovy. A magical meeting of voices and instruments, where every song and every musician gets a chance to shine. ✨

Siskin Green’s Living in the Echo combines exquisite harmonies, thoughtful songwriting, and stories of justice, memory, faith, feminism, and hope. Rooted in folk tradition but firmly speaking to the present, the trio’s second album is music that invites us to listen, reflect, and feel held. 💚📻 So what happens next?
We’ll be playing both songs 4–5 times a day for the entire month on CeltCast Radio! And, of course, they’ll also be featured in our special CeltCast Monthly Markers Spotify playlist. - Kati Ran-Sála (2024); A CeltCast Classic
Rarely has an album made such an impact on me. After the first listening session, it was clear that Sála by Kati Ran had to get a CeltCast Classic album status. Honestly, there just was no other option.
If this album is already part of your collection, you’ll probably fully agree with me.
