The new date of the FA

After the heart-breaking news of yesterday that the Fantasy Awards, planned for tomorrow, couldn’t continue, we have been working on what to do next. We had a number of scenarios in our contingency plan, but most of them were not really what we wanted.

Thanks to the awesome response we got from P60 and the entire Fantasy and Folk scene, we are very happy to announce that we are moving the event to a new date! So mark it in your calendar, the Fantasy Awards will now be held on the 13th of June 2020!

By this time we hope the Corona outbreak is either gone or fully under control and we are free to party again.

We are aiming to keep the line up the same as much as possible, however, if one of our artists or bands are not able to move to this date, we will do our best to have an awesome replacement.

Tickets you have bought already will be valid, however if for some reason you can’t make it on the new date you can get your money back through TicketMaster!

We hope to see you at the Fantasy Awards 19/20 on the 13th of June 2020 in the P60, Amstelveen!

It is with a heavy heart that we have to tell you that we are forced to postpone the Fantasy Awards this Saturday.

Due to the Corona pandemic the Dutch government has ordered to delay or cancel all events with more than 100 people until at least the end of the month. This means that the fantasy awards as we had planned cannot continue. We are really heartbroken.

Currently we are looking into what our alternatives are. We are fanatically communicating and discussing the options. We will inform you all as soon as possible on this.

We ask you all to not send us pm’s right now, and to please wait for the next communication. We understand that you may have questions, but it is likely that we do not have the appropriate answers at this time, as you can imagine, there’s is a lot for all of us to deal with at the moment.

News about our CeltCast Fantasy Awards 19/20 Badges!

Last October, after five years of being on-air and supporting as many bands and festivals as we could, CeltCast (Community Radio) became a foundation. We could never have guessed that this dream would come true!

To celebrate this with you we set out to throw a party! A party because of the 5th birthday of CeltCast ánd because we have become a foundation. Around that time the opportunity arose to continue the Fantasy Awards through CeltCast. We are very grateful for the hard work our friends of Bastaard have done for the previous four editions. <3 This winter, the CeltCast team worked hard to make this first CeltCast Fantasy Awards edition a success. At this moment, we can count the nights to the show in the P60 ! We are very excited!

Now, we have a question for all who support the work we do...

For a long time, our Rosanne CeltCast has been designing beautiful badges for various festivals that we faithfully visit with our CeltCast team. Everyone knows: "a hug for a badge". But this time, for our specially designed Fantasy Awards badges, we ask a small donation to help the CeltCast foundation grow! There is a small base price of 50 cents, but extra donations are always welcome!

The designer of all our badges can provide information about this at our merch stand at the Fantasy Awards. And, if you want to make your collection complete… “for the first time in forever” you have the chance to collect older badges too!

For the past five years, we have volunteered to distribute folk music and of course we will continue to do so, but because of the voluntary aspect, it’s not always easy.

So… buy a ticket for the Fantasy Awards and celebrate “the music” with us and all the amazing musicians!
