Wow, day 1 of the Midwinter Fair Yule Fest is over. It’s the last festival of this year. After this we will have to wait until March 2019 voor the start of the festival season again.

So we took care to really enjoy this amazing festival at Archeon . and how could we not?

With bands like EMIAN PaganFolk , Trolska Polska , Sassenachs , Datura medieval music , Aérokorda , Itchy Fingers , Fiddle ‘n Drum and many more! we had an amazing time!

Two days to go untill Midwinter Fair Yule Fest . Two days of waiting for two days of good friends, good food and drinks, and of course some very, very good music!

Join CeltCast and Archeon , together with Pøbel , Sassenachs , Parsley , Datura medieval music , Naragonia , Fiddle ‘n Drum , Itchy Fingers , Gwendolyn Snowdon , EMIAN duo , Four of a Kind , Imbue , Aérokorda , Trolska Polska and EMIAN PaganFolk on three stages in one of the most beautiful archeological parks of Europe and let’s dance the dark nights away!

Of course there will be more to see than this. An atmospheric market where you can get anything and everything your heart desires. A ceremony to honour Yule. A Pagan Wedding Chapel to “tie the knot” with your loved one. New this year: Celtic Karaoke! All set the the stage of various historically accurate backgrounds.

CeltCast will be there all weekend, so come on over and give us a hug! We also have a few little goodies to give away if you’re quick enough. For a hint…check this picture 😉 If you really can’t make it, well, we’ll obviously do our best to bring you some nice live video streams, to bring a bit of the atmosphere into your home.

Celebrated life and music at the Midwinter Fair Archeon and at Otava yo

These last days we celebrated life and music at the Midwinter Fair Archeon and at Otava yo (Отава ё) ‘s gig at the Melkweg. During these days, Holland was truly taken over by winter. Snow is falling, the wind is cold and the skies dark.

However, during our time at the Midwinter fair, we were warmed by music, many friends, and lots of fun. We tried to give you as much music as possible. We streamed Sunfire , Pyrolysis , Kelten zonder Grenzen , Trolska Polska , Sassenachs , Fiddle ‘n Drum and of course Rapalje .

Despite the snowfall and warning of slippery roads, our amazing Alex decided that after spending the whole day at the Midwinter Fair, it was going to be worth the difficult drive to Amsterdam to see Otava Yo – Melkweg Amsterdam on Sunday evening. Of which he provided us with some great live streams!! Apparently they blew off the roof!!
