Time for a new Monthly Marker and some special news!

It’s a new month, so once again, time for a new Monthly Marker!

(And for some special Monthly Marker news! Read to the end!)

In this month of spring, we want to celebrate the returning of vibrant life to the earth, so we went looking for a song that really reflects that feeling. And boy, did we find that in Priscilla Hernandez – Yidneth! Not only does the title of the song we chose, The Waking Of Spring, immediately conjure images of blooming flowers and singing birds, the music and lyrics will transport you to Mother Nature’s reawakening lap. Though this song was released as a single, we strongly recommend you check out her albums as well. The music is beautiful and amazing, but the artwork of the albums is out of this world!

Live in the Livingroom again!

Of course we are hard at work getting every little part of the Fantasy Awards 19/20 organised, but we shouldn’t forget to take a moment to spend time with friends and family. And sometimes, we can combine the two! ^_^

Next Tuesday we will be joined by CeltCast’s good friend Philip Steenbergen for a whole new ‘Live in the Livingroom’ session at CeltCast HQ!

With Philip’s incredible history in the folk scene, his brand new album, (which Cliff just did a review on (see this webpage), and of course his upcoming performance at the Fantasy Awards, we’re quite sure we’ll have loads to talk about. As usual we welcome your questions too! Feel free to ask away here in the comments or in those of the livestream itself which we will be monitoring closely for that real-time interaction! 🙂

We are entering the last week of voting for the long-lists for the Fantasy Awards 19/20!

The photo album for the category ‘Best Costume’ will be online until next Friday, the 20th of December 19.00h CET.

Give the costumes you like most your love by liking them. The top 5 costumes will then go on to form the short list to compete for the award. For this short list we have both a jury and a people’s voting system. We will aim to select a jury which is both knowledgeable and fair. This means that 50% of the points will be given by a jury and 50% by the number of votes that the costume receives.

Sharing the pictures is of course allowed (we even want you to share all over 🙂 ) but please keep in mind that the likes counted are the ones on the picture in this album, not in the shared posts.

The fourth longlist of the Fantasy Awards 19/20 is online!
