🌿 Our new September Monthly Markers are here! 🌿
Every month, Team CeltCast carefully chooses a few songs that touched our hearts, and we’ll be sharing them with you all month long. 💚

This month is all about Power and Intensity! 💥

Band no. 1: Sowulo (NL)
Song: Nihtēagan

🎶 Cliff’s review of Sowulo – Nihtēagan says it all:
“The contrast between subtle harp play and raw, emotional vocals creates such a powerful moment. Swept away by nyckelharpa, orchestra, and choir, Faber once again proves why he is a true classical pagan folk composer.”

Band no. 2: Emaline Delapaix (UK)
Song: When the Light Falls and the Bear Sleeps

🌿 Meanwhile, Emaline Delapaix joined forces with producer Fieke van den Hurk to craft a mystical winter soundscape: shamanic drums, moody accordion, and haunting strings by Sophie Zaaijer on Swedish nyckelharpa. Entirely created by women (apart from a little mandolin by Emaline’s partner), the track radiates pure nurturing, feminine power, giving Mother Nature her own voice. And she tells us: listen. 🎻

This month, let yourself be carried away by these breathtakingly powerful songs. You’ll hear these tracks on CeltCast Radio 5-6 times a day, and of course, they’re added to our CeltCast – Monthly Markers Spotify playlist, too. 🎶

And just like every month, one of these songs could win the CeltCast Fantasy Award for Best Monthly Marker in February’s show, with you, our community, cheering them on! 🏆

Musical Greetings,
The CeltCast Radio Team 🎻
