Thalas is formed by two familiar names in Belgium’s folk scene: Guus Herremans & Ward Dhoore. These longtime friends have been weaving melodies together for over a decade, and you can hear that deep musical bond in their work. Their sound blends tradition with fresh energy, pulling you straight onto the dance floor. Their track “In Good Company” is exactly that: joyful, colourful, and instantly dance-inducing. Band no. 2: Green Lads (FR)

The Green Lads are one of France’s most energetic Celtic bands, and they blew us away when we first saw them live at Castlefest 2025! 🎻
Their music is a playful mix of Irish dance rhythms, modern beats, and boundless energy. It’s impossible not to smile (and start moving) when they perform. Their third album, “Nebula” (2023) has been called an “addictive river of positivity”, and it truly feels like a celebration of life and music. This month’s choice, “Spark”, is exactly that: electrifying, uplifting, and a perfect invitation to dance.
