Linda

Hello there! My name is Linda 🙂

Being born in 1993 in the historic city of Delft, history has always been an interest of mine. I love walking through the historic city centre and imagining how my ancestors have walked those exact same paths and bridges centuries ago.

For as long as I can remember, music has been a part of my life. If I’m not listening to music or singing myself, there is always a melody going on inside my head. From the moment I wake up until I go to sleep again: music is always there.

I was nineteen when I visited Castlefest for the first time and it immediately felt like coming home. That very first time, I was only supposed to go on Saturday but when I woke up the next morning I couldn’t bear the thought that Castlefest was still going on and I wasn’t there.

So, I got up, drove to Castlefest, waited in line an hour to buy a last-minute ticket and I had the time of my life. Since then, I also visited many other festivals but the best time of the year is going back to Castlefest. Every time it feels like coming home.

You can only go to so many fantasy festivals until you notice the CeltCast Crew. I was amazed by the love, time and energy they are putting into the scene that feels like home to me and so many others. There are no words to explain how honoured I am to have become a part of the warm CeltCast family and to be a helping hand behind the scenes, by setting up the bookkeeping and keeping it up to date.

Besides the bookkeeping and visiting festivals, other interests of mine are singing, Balfolk dancing (if you have never tried it, I can highly recommend it ^^) or getting my hands dirty behind my workbench, creating jewellery as a goldsmith for my own brand Atelier Avera 🙂

So, there’s a little bit about me. If you every see me walking on festival grounds, come up to me and say hi. I would love to get to know you!

Love, Linda
